Stuck in Singapore during the Covid-19 pandemic, lots of people picked up a multitude of new hobbies to keep themselves occupied. You might be one of them. For your next hobby, why not consider birding? Birding refers to the practice of watching, observing and photographing birds. Singapore has been home to an active birding community even prior to the pandemic, though the pandemic lent a hand to its surge in popularity. One of the top sites for birding is the Keppel Discovery Wetlands, which I visited as part of my Applied Biogeography class in February 2022.
