As I was doing research on livestock production and pollution,  I thought that this diagram published by the Pew Commission on Industrial Farm Animal Production is very detailed and explains the entire flow clearly. It first indicates the sources of pollution, in this case the various types of farm animals and even aquaculture. Next, it highlights the various components of the livestock-induced pollutants, which includes dusts and pathogens. As these pollutants are transmitted either through air, water or land, there are both environmental impacts and human health risks induced. The diagram then ends off with linking the ecological impacts back to human health risks, indicating that eventually environmental deterioration will further affect our human health and this vicious cycle repeats.

I hope that by sharing this diagram, it can help us to better visualize the flow of livestock-induced pollution and even other forms of pollution! Thank you!
