This was an article contribution by Associate Professor Bilveer Singh from the Department of Political Science at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, in which he discussed Indonesia’s three presidential candidates predicted most likely to ascend to the position. He opined that although Joko Widodo is expected to win, victory is no longer assured, as he is up against Prabowo Subianto who has emerged as a charismatic master political campaigner.
