The third conference in the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) Research on Aging Series will be held in Singapore from October 11-15, 2010. The conference’s focus is on Healthy Aging. As in past years, the conference will serve as a platform for junior researchers in the Pacific Rim region to network as well as learn about healthy aging from numerous international and local experts. This is a five day event involving signature lectures by international experts on aging, posters, papers and site visits. In addition, participants will be divided into teams based on similar interests and will plan new research projects focusing on an aspect of healthy aging. A research grant competition will be held on the last day and a cash prize will be awarded to the best proposal.
