Application Open: U21 Summer School 2010 – University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China

 IRO has just announced a call for applications for the 2010 Universitas 21 (U21) Summer School, hosted by The University of Nottingham from 5 – 15 July 2010. This year’s theme will focus on global food security and take an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach to exploring the issue of food security through global politics, national policies, and local practices.

 The U21 Summer School is open to full-time NUS undergraduate students third year and above. Students from any faculty / school / discipline and of any nationality may apply. However, you must keep in mind that you will be responsible for meeting all immigration requirements for China. Successful applicants should possess a good command of the English language, are thoughtful and mature in their outlook, and be able to act as effective ambassadors of NUS.

Up to five successful applicants from NUS will participate in the Summer School and IRO will award summer school grants to help offset the cost of the registration fee, airfare, accommodation, and local transport. Deadline for the submission of application form and supporting documents is 16 April 2010 .
