Congratulations Dr. Wang!

The EWAT group is proud of our member Zuxin Wang, who had her thesis defense this morning and obtained her doctorate degree. One of the greatest things about education is that no one can take it away from you, we wish you all the best in this science race, where the starter pistol just got fired, jiayou!

Regional IWA Reuse International Conference 2018

“Southeast Asia is experiencing unprecedented growth and economic development; however, many sustainability challenges remain.”  This conference showcased the advances of Southeast Asia  scientific community, addressing many water challenges associated with rapid development.  During this conference the EWAT group organized a workshop, where participants tried to give solutions in order to improve the water management of the hotel which served as conference venue. Also, participated with 3 oral presentations, below Dr. Hugo Olvera as chair in the session of Advanced Treatment Technologies.

One of the research interests of the EWAT group is the development of new electrode materials. In order to learn new material’s synthesis methods, our PhD student Xu Jiangxiong is doing an academic stay at the Sobornne university Paris Diderot. She  hopes that the combination between the new material and the electrodes she has been developing during her PhD research, will improve the degradation efficiency of pollutants.
