Our lab is always looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about research at the intersection of AI and neurology/neuroscience.

We welcome candidates at various levels:

🔍 Who we look for

Ideal candidates typically have:

  • A background in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Neuroscience, or related fields
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R)
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in writing research papers and working in collaborative environments

💰 PhD Scholarships (All Nationalities)

All scholarships are bond-free and competitive:

President’s Graduate Fellowship

  • Monthly stipend: ~SGD 3,500–4,000 (depends on academic merit)
  • Covers full tuition + research and travel allowances
  • Application: aligns with NUS graduate admission cycles (typically August and January intakes)

NUS Research Scholarship

  • Monthly stipend: SGD 2,500 (international) or SGD 3,000 (Singaporeans/PRs)
  • Additional SGD 500/month after passing the PhD Qualifying Examination
  • Covers full tuition; renewable each semester
  • Requirements: at least second-class upper honors degree or equivalent; eligible for MOE subsidy

Provost Graduate Award

  • For candidates with Honors (Highest Distinction)
  • Provides competitive stipend (similar to NUS rates)
  • Covers full tuition

Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

  • Monthly stipend: SGD 2,700; increases to SGD 3,200 after QE
  • Covers full tuition
  • Includes SGD 1,500 airfare + SGD 1,000 settling-in allowance
  • Application deadline: December 1, 2025 (for August 2026 intake)

AISG PhD Fellowship

  • Monthly stipend: typically SGD 3,000–5,000 (depends on qualifications)
  • Covers tuition + research support

🧪 Research Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant

We also welcome applications from motivated individuals at different career stages:

  • Research fellows (postdoctoral level)
  • Research associates
  • Research assistants

You’ll work on AI-driven projects in neuroscience/neurology, in collaboration with clinicians and data scientists.
