Starting from Semester 1 of AY2021/2022, module ST2137 – Computer Aided Data Analysis has a new name, Statistical Computing and Programming.

Previously, students learned R, SAS and SPSS for the data analysis purpose in this module. However, from Semester 2 of AY 2020/2021, I started to remove SPSS and replace it by Python. This change can benefit students more, especially when data science is blooming where people in this field use Python much more commonly than SPSS.

With the excellent help of Data Camp, students can have great experience with both R and Python available there.
