Talking Slides

One of the challenges in Digital Cytology is that the depth of some tissue fragments requires multiple focal points to be captured during the scanning process, and then retrieved during the viewing process. For educational needs, video microscopy may be a helpful adjunct to viewing scanned digital slides, particularly in samples in which three dimensional groups are seen.

Here you will find some examples of cytology cases which employ both digital cytology and video recordings of cytologic slides to explain specific diagnostic features. We hope you will find the “Talking slides” helpful!
