    Dear Prof

For Paper 10/11 Q6 (a) is it asking node u instead of v? since there is no information about v and it only provides information about u.

    Thank you very much~

    • Soh You Jun says:

There’s enough information about v to answer the question.
There are two mentions of it before that question (part a) is asked.

  2. Liu Chaoyi says:

It would be very nice to see question 1 in this year’s paper, even if it is just worth 0.5 mark :)

  3. Oh Shunhao says:

    For AY10/11 Q15c (last page),

The question says “After the RTS is successfully sent, the transmitting node sends the data frame immediately”

What does it mean by “the RTS is successfully sent”?

My interpretation is that the node immediately starts transmitting data the moment the RTS is sent out (like immediately after the transmission time of the RTS), without caring whether the RTS has reached anyone.
In that case, it doesn’t seem to work any different from the original scheme.

Or does the question mean “After the RTS has been sent and acknowledged successfully”? As in does the node wait for an acknowledgement for the RTS before transmitting data?

    • Ooi Wei Tsang says:

It means that RTS is successfully sent without collision.

      • Huang zhanxiang says:

Does it mean that RTS is successfully sent without A detecting any collision? Undetected collision can still happen because RTS is very small? So in this way, the only difference from the original scheme is that A will sent a small frame and then the data frame back to back, and if A detect any collision while sending RTS, channel time will not be wasted too much?

  4. Chan Jun Wei says:

    Dear prof,

I want to ask about how a router learns about the IP of another router before running the routing protocol ( means when the routing table is empty).

    Are them hardcoded?

    Thank you.

Toys are of great importance in developing a child because their help and kids develop imagination, motor skills, thinking, social skills such as caring for others, attentiveness, responsibility, responsiveness, and much more. While playing with dolls, cars, or stuffed toys, the child creates a society and relationships model in his head. Toys develop not only fine motor skills of hands but also the ability to think logically, which will be very useful in the later life of the child.

The programming assignments are the same difficulty level as CS2105, takes some time to implement and debug, but not hard in nature, you can pick your own favourite language. Redoing your website indicates that you either change the current features or rebuild those elements from scratch. The website redesign price also matters to a great degree to the project’s achievement.
