The Teaching Enhancement Grants (TEG) provides monetary support for scholarly projects that investigate and aim to improve instructional, pedagogical, curriculum, and assessment practices so as to advance students’ understanding. The grant is intended to promote a reflective approach to university teaching and student learning. It is further expected that the results from these projects will be made public in appropriate ways so as to improve institutional practice.

TEG Learning Communities (LCs)
With the aim of creating supportive networks of learning, the TEG LC initiative has resulted in the setting up of several learning communities this year, focusing on advancing our understanding of interdisciplinary education in NUS. These communities explored a variety of pedagogical approaches to interdisciplinary education, including how to collaborative learning can be conceived and achieved both at the staff and student levels, to the various pathways to effectively engage students from various disciplinary backgrounds on computational and quantitative thinking.
