Graduate Research and Travel Grant (for Buddhist Studies)
The Buddhist Studies Group offers up to two awards annually on a competitive basis to NUS MA and PhD students for research, travel, or conference presentations related to the academic study of Buddhism.

Eligibility
All NUS graduate research students are eligible to apply. BSG-affiliated students may be given priority when available funds are limited.
How to Apply
An application for funding includes:
• A completed application form (Download form here);
• A one-page CV.

Deadline
We accept applications at any time. Funding requests must be received at least 6 weeks before the funds are needed.
FASS Special Prize (for Buddhist Studies)
The Academic Development Committee at Khyentse Foundation (KF) is donating a sum of US$1,500 annually to be shared among students as a recognition of distinction and hard work in the field of Buddhist Studies.

Eligibility
Having read and passed or reading at least 1 of the following courses during the current academic year:
1. HY2265 Buddhism in World History
2. HY3262 Buddhism In Southeast Asian History
3. CH3882A Chinese Temples Across Southeast Asia or CH3390 Chinese Temples Across Southeast Asia (taught in English)
4. CH3255 Introduction to Chinese Buddhism
The prize is awarded to the top student(s) who have taken at least 1 of the above-mentioned courses in their studies at NUS.
Students are not required to apply for the prize. The selection is done by the Office.
