Hello fellow readers, Natasha here! I hope you guys have enjoyed following us through our journey of raising awareness on the environmental pollution produced by major sporting events. While there are a plethora of major sporting events around the world, we chose to cover the few that are close to our hearts and I am sure that they are close to many of yours too. As avid fans of these events, it is our responsibility to educate ourselves on the amount of waste that these events generate as we, as consumers, are part of the problem too. With that, we hope that our blog could be a starter in sparking an important discussion surrounding the extremely high pollution and greenhouse gas emissions that these events generate, as well as encouraging for greener solutions that could be a stepping stone for these events to become zero-waste. Thank you so much for keeping up with our blogs thus far! We will be going on a hiatus so I guess it is goodbye for now… But who knows, maybe we’ll be back before you know it ~
