Undergraduate Research Assistant

As a child, Yoong Joo loved insects and enjoyed spending his time in gardens observing ant trails and chasing dragonflies. Yoong Joo enjoyed drawing animals. Whenever he was at a zoo, he would always be spotted on a ground at one corner, drawing from his own imagination.

Right now, Yoong Joo still loves art and craft. He will spend his free time learning how to fold origami and drawing cartoon animals. He is currently an undergraduate Research Assistant in the lab and his research interests include the factors affecting the variation in onset of infant speech development and speech development in children with ASD.
