As a child, Yi Xuan enjoyed performing for others and actively participated in various performing arts which allowed her to do that – from singing to playing the violin to dancing. She remained very curious about how music can bring people together and enjoyed her time being a part of something that was able to do that.
Nowadays, Yi Xuan prefers exploring and listening to music of various languages and genres, as well as, watching performances of her favourite artists. In her free time, she also enjoys learning new languages.
Yi Xuan is currently a Research Assistant in the lab working on the SG Leads Language subproject, and is interested in language acquisition of children’s development and language learning in educational settings.
