GROUP 7 – PARKIT

Description of Product/ Service/ Innovation:

Parkit is a mobile application design to assist car owners with parking. Using the application, vehicle owners are able to check the status of parking lots in all the carparks that work together with us. The app also allows vehicles to book carparks for a small fee so that they have guaranteed parking lots at the time that they arrive.

What Stakeholder Need Does It Address?

The app helps to change the way people use parking. By using the application, vehicle owners are able to streamline and optimize the way that they use their cars. In a broader perspective, it can help users to make better informed decisions based on reliable, real-time information, thus elimination unnecessary inconveniences.

How Does It Build on existing Technology/Processes?

The application makes use of the ability of the internet to spread information almost instantaneously. It also allows us to make a user-friendly interface that people of all ages can use.
