Thank you everyone!

Hi everyone! We have reached the final week of semester 1. It has been a great time to be able to blog each week writing and researching on environmental pollution, particularly from the issues revolving around Air Pollution. Throughout each post, I have learnt and understood more insights into the hidden aspects of air pollution. The topics discussed, ranged from the causes of air pollution, its sources, its effects, indoor vs outdoor air pollution and the sharing of tips on reducing air pollution (at home, while commuting, purchasing clothes as well as electronics, green habits such as planting indoors). Some macro aspects of air pollution include relations between COVID-19 and air pollution, world biggest producers such as India and China and its air pollution, waste management in cities, its effects on health, air pollution from aviation and air travel. The last few posts this week was aimed at how our society particularly in Singapore, can transit into a low carbon society, which depends less on non-renewable energy resources that are main sources of air pollution.

To conclude, I would like to thank everyone for reading and joining me on this journey as we learn more about the issues that arise from air pollution. I hope that all of us can play a part as an individual and influencing those around us to reduce our carbon footprint by being eco-friendly in our everyday activities.
