Fault-tolerant quantum computing – from theory to practice

Welcome to the Quantum Science Ng Group at the Department of Physics and the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore. We are also affiliated with MajuLab, a French-Singaporean quantum centre hosted in CQT.

We study aspects of quantum information and computation, with particular focus on quantum error correction and fault tolerance, to mitigate the effects of noise in quantum computing devices. Our current interest is on bringing error correction and fault tolerance closer to experimental realisation.

You can find the 2025 Year In Review for the group here.
