Secure your iPad – Set a long passcode
May 9th
Once you start using your iPad, you will discover that it is an inherently personal device. Unlike a desktop, which can have different user accounts, the iPad and everything on it is yours and yours alone.
How you secure the iPad and the data on it is of paramount importance. The older version of the iOS operating system only allowed for simple 4-digit PIN numbers. The current version allows you to set a long, alphanumeric and special characters passcode. You should take full advantage of this.
Here’s how to set up your iPad’s long passcode.
Step 1
1. Tap the Settings icon on your iPad. Tap General, then tap Passcode Lock.
