TAI E Shyong

Dr Tai is an clinician scientist with an interest in the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases including hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus.  As part of his work, he is actively involved in epidemiologic studies to identify patterns of behaviour (including diet and physical activity) that are associated with increased risk of metabolic diseases, and efforts to alter this behaviour through public policy, changing the food supply and lifestyle modification through patient engagement.
