LIEW Seaw Jia

Liew Seaw Jia is currently pursuing her PhD with Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, detecting the known and uncovering the unknown through imaging and image processing techniques. Her current research interests focus on examining the impact of tele-health modalities in the management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). In addition, she is also exploring the benefit of gamification in promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing NCDs. She believes that appreciation for diversity in human characteristics and embracing innovation in technologies will promote better health.
