[May 2017] Our Paper titled “Modeling of Viscoelastic Electromechanical Behavior in a Soft Dielectric Elastomer Actuator” by GY Gu, U Gupta, J Zhu, LM Zhu, X Zhu was accepted and published on IEEE Transactions on Robotics.
[Mar 2017] Our paper titled “Dynamic pattern of wrinkles in a dielectric elastomer” by H Godaba, ZQ Zhang, U Gupta, CC Foo, J Zhu was accepted and published on Soft Matter.
[Dec 2016] Our group participated in the Soft Robot Competition in Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. The soft inchworm robot developed by Jiawei Cao and Lei Qin was awarded the Second Prize. Presentation on electro-adhesion robot feet by Lei Qin was awarded the Second Prize.
[Oct 2016] Our research paper “A Highly Sensitive Soft Compression Sensor Based on Origami Structure” by Jisen Li and Jian Zhu was awarded Student Paper Award in the 6th International Symposium on InfoComm & Mechatronics Technology in Bio-Medical & Healthcare Application, Singapore.
