Welcome!

The 48 students in my Revenue Management class and I had an absolutely amazing experience at our virtual Revenue Management roundtable on Monday 9 March.  It was originally supposed to be in person, but alas, due to the coronavirus situation, this was not possible.   Having a virtual format was a new one for all of us, but thanks to the exec ed team at the NUS Business School and my TA, Kah Kiong, it worked!!

Our focus was on the coronavirus situation, how it’s affected the hotel industry and what hotels are doing to get through this challenge.

We started off with all 70 or so of us, and then broke into 9 groups of industry leaders and students to have virtual discussions on each of these topics.   In between, we got back together and heard the insightful summaries from each of the student groups.

The intent of the roundtable was to help us come up with some well-thought out and viable approaches to managing through the current challenging situation.

The students will be posting their key takeaways in the next week or so.  Stay tuned!!!

And, thanks for taking a look at our blog!!!   Comments would be most appreciated.
