Patrick Andres

Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific

Patrick Andres was appointed as Rainmaker’s Regional Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific region in 2015. Patrick is a seasoned industry expert with over 25 years of experience in the travel and hospitality technology industries, and has in-depth knowledge of the Asia-Pacific region where he spent almost 20 years working for global organizations based out of Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to joining the Rainmaker Group, he was the Singapore-based Vice President of Asia-Pacific for Travelport, and previous to that for Sabre Hospitality Solutions where he led the company’s growth and presence in the region for six years. He has also worked in senior management positions with IATA, Expedia, Micros-Fidelio and SAP AG based in Canada, Europe and Asia. As Regional Managing Director for Rainmaker, he leads the company’s commercial, marketing and strategic operations. Patrick is a key member of the senior management team responsible for driving revenue, securing new business and identifying key strategic opportunities to grow the company’s footprint across the Asia-Pacific and the Middle-East region. Patrick has an MBA in International Business from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from McGill University. He is currently based in Singapore.



Kathrin Bhalla

Director of Global Solutions, Engineering

Kathrin Bhalla, started her career in Asia Pacific with Starwood Hotels & Resorts where she held various revenue management positions in both the corporate office as well as on property level as Director of Revenue Management at the St. Regis Singapore. In her last role at Starwood, she was responsible for Revenue Management training, the rollout of Starwood’s Revenue Management System in Asia Pacific as well as part of the Global Revenue Management Initiatives committee.

At IDeaS – A SAS Company – Kathrin is responsible for creating customized revenue management solutions for various clients as well as assisting the IDeaS team in technical and domain questions throughout the sales cycle. In her current role as Director, Global Solutions Engineering, she strategically leads the IDeaS Solution teams around the world in addition to her Asia Pacific role.



Robin Brouwer

Robin Brouwer is the Regional Director, Revenue Management, Asia Pacific for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI) and has leadership experience in City and Resort operations.  Mr. Brouwer has over 16 years of experience in Hotel Revenue Management and over 25 years in Hospitality within the North America and Asia Pacific Regions. Currently, he supports 15 hotels within Asia Pacific. His role is instrumental in promoting and strengthening a Total Hotel Profit Optimization culture within FRHI Revenue Management. His expertise includes a wide range of roles including revenue management, opening hotel projects, development and implementation of standards and efficient use of all available Revenue Management resources.

Christine Choo is the Assistant Vice President, Sales Operations, Revenue Management and e-Commerce (OTAs) at Resorts World Sentosa. Ms. Choo has been with Resorts World Sentosa since 2009 and has worked in a variety of revenue management and pre-opening roles. She has over 16 years experience with a number of companies including Avaya Asia-Pacific, FCS Computer Systems and the Mandarin Orchard. Ms. Choo has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and eCommerce from Edith Cowan University.



Ayesha D’Souza

Industry Manager, Travel

Ayesha D’Souza is the Industry Manager for Travel with Google-Singapore. Ms. D’Souza has worked in both traditional and digital media and specializes in new business development, client servicing, mobile marketing, digital yield management and content development.   Before joining Google, Ms. D’Souza worked for InMobi, Grameen Financial Services and Radio Indigo. She has her MBA from INSEAD in France and her BA from Mount Carmel College in India. She is originally from Bangalore and was part of the team that set-up India’s first all-English radio station.



Siv Forlie

Vice President – Revenue Management

Siv Forlie is the Vice President – Revenue Management for Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd., responsible for driving the company’s global strategy in the areas of revenue management, asset performance and business intelligence.

Possessing over 20 years of experience in F&B, reservations, sales & marketing, revenue management and distribution, Siv previously held various positions in international companies such as Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Rezidor Hotels.

Siv holds a Bachelor of Hotel Management and Service Management.

A passion for travel and tourism has enabled Clive to work across geographies, covering roles in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). His progression over the past decade can be attributed to strong leadership skills, business acumen and exposure to multiple facets of the travel industry. Clive is currently leading the market management teams in Malaysia and Singapore, responsible for expanding Expedia’s partner base and driving revenue and P&L targets. Having joined Expedia in early 2012 to lead the market management team in Italy, Clive has rapidly made his mark, working on several innovate projects across business divisions. His previous role, as Director of Sales & Marketing for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI), saw him lead the team to two World Travel Awards. Clive worked for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for 6 years before joining FRHI, developing quickly within the global sales organization, re-positioning the New Business division and taking on numerous leadership roles across various market segments. Clive holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Liverpool, a Senior Leadership Certification in Organization Leadership from Ashridge Business School and a Hotel Management Degree, obtained with Distinction. Clive is a passionate, multilingual and pragmatic individual who is highly mobile and holds EU citizenship. Ernst Hemmer

Ernst Hemmer is the Company Director and Chairman of Agoda Company Pte. Ltd. In Singapore. Prior to this position, he was a Senior Director Commercial for Agoda. Mr. Hemmer has a wide range of experience including Regional Director Asia-Pacific for, Head of Airlines sales for Abacus International and over 6 years with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Mr. Hemmer as an LL.M. in International Law from Leiden University and studied Marketing Management at University of California, Berkeley.

Sherri Kimes is a Visiting Professor of Decision Sciences in the Business School at the National University of Singapore and is a Professor of Operations Management at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.   Her area of specialization is revenue management. She has been teaching, conducting research and providing consulting services in this area for over 25 years. She was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the College of Service Operations of the Production and Operations Management Society and was honored with the Industry Relevance Award by the Cornell University Center for Hospitality Research in 2010, 2012 and 2014.



Puneet Mahindroo

In a career spanning 17 years in the hospitality industry Puneet Mahindroo has worked in various hotel and regional level roles in Revenue Management and Distribution. Puneet has been responsible for implementing a wide range of projects including Automated Revenue Management System, Revenue Leadership Training Programs, Pricing Reforms and Next Generation Distribution Platforms.

Puneet has also been involved in various industry wide initiatives by virtue of serving 2 terms as the Asia Pacific representative on the Board of Directors of Hotel Electronic Distribution Networking Association (HEDNA) and been an active member of the Leading Hotels of the World International Rooms, Revenue Management and Distribution Advisory Board. He has recently been nominated as the Chair for the HSMAI Asia Pacific Revenue Management Advisory Board.

Puneet holds a Bachelor’s Degree In Hospitality Management from Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad and has done a further specialization in Strategic Hospitality Management from University of Huddersfield, UK along with a Diploma in Hospitality Management from American Hotel and Motel Association, USA. Puneet is passionate about education and has been an external faculty of Revenue Management to business schools.

For his achievements in the area of Revenue Management and Distribution Puneet has also won awards and recognition, in the recent years.

In his role with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Puneet is responsible for leading the development of Revenue Management and Distribution initiatives for the Asia Pacific region.

Chhavi Malhotra is the Regional Director of Revenue Management – Asia and India at Hilton Worldwide. In his current role, he leads the revenue management function across eleven countries. Prior to this position, he was Regional Director of Revenue Management – Thailand, IndoChina, Japan, Korea and Guam. Mr. Malhotra is a commercial leader in the travel and tourism industry and specializes in pricing, digital marketing, e-commerce and revenue management. He has experience in managing assets across Europe and Asia and has worked for the leading global hospitality companies including Hilton, Starwood and Marriott.



Amanda See

Vice President of Field Operations, Asia Pacific

As Vice President of Field Operations in Asia Pacific, Amanda is on the frontlines of Duetto’s rapid growth as a hotel revenue strategy technology leader. She directs the company’s sales and business development in Asia Pacific from the company’s regional headquarters in Singapore. Going beyond sales, Amanda also works closely with Duetto’s deployment, product and customer success teams to ensure clients have a smooth implementation and ongoing success.

Amanda has a deep array of experience in channel distribution, marketing, revenue strategy, event and conference sales, as well as operations in the hospitality industry over the past 20 years.

She was most recently the Senior Director of Business Development for Sabre Hospitality and instrumental in the rapid growth of the company’s regional customer base in the last seven years. She is able to leverage the trust she has built over the years and is highly regarded for her expertise in revenue optimization, marketing and distribution strategies.

Amanda holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Australia and is a Board Member for HSMAI Southeast Asia Chapter.

Timothy Tan is the Regional Director of Solutions Engineering, responsible for identifying, evaluating and consulting on the Revenue Management technology needs for Duetto’s customers in Asia Pacific.

Having risen through the ranks for over 20 years in the hospitality industry, Timothy previously held roles in operations, sales and marketing, and for the last 12 years, Revenue Management leadership and practitioner roles at various hotel chains, including Pan Pacific, Far East Hospitality, IHG and FRHI.

Timothy holds a Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) from Edith Cowan University In Perth, a Post Grad Diploma in Marketing by the Marketing Institute of Singapore, and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) by HSMAI.

Maunik joined the pre‐opening team at Marina Bay Sands Pte Ltd, Las Vegas Sands’ premier  Integrated  Resort  development  in  Singapore,  in  December  2009  as  the  Vice  President  for  Revenue Optimization. In this role, he was responsible for the property’s Revenue Management  as well as Gaming Optimization needs, leading a team of 20 highly motivated and analytically  driven team members. His primary responsibilities included the development of the systems,  practices, analytical capabilities and processes to drive total revenue and profitability for the  property, which today is the single most profitable casino resort development in the world.

Since 2013,  he leads the marketing  organization  at Marina Bay Sands as well as provides  strategic direction for the Entertainment and Museum operations teams. His key focus has been  on developing a strong brand positioning and alignment of the service culture for Marina Bay  Sands, through the development of technology and with the use of analytics to provide a  personalized, relevant, seamless and consistent customer experience across the destination.

Prior to working at Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd., Maunik worked with Las Vegas Sands’ properties  in Macao, The Venetian Macao and Sands Macao, for three years, starting with the pre‐opening  team, overseeing the Revenue Management function for the company in Macao. He started his  career in Revenue Management and Distribution in 1999, with Taj Hotels in India, before moving  to the Middle East in 2001, to work for Le Meridien Hotels (part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts)  in Dubai and Bahrain for over 5 years.

Maunik holds an MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI in Paris, a program  jointly administered by Cornell University, USA and ESSEC, France. His personal interests lie in  travel and he has always had a desire to live and work in different parts of the world, learning  about different cultures.

Stan Van Roij is a highly motivated and versatile executive who boasts a 20+ career spent entirely within the hospitality industry – over fifteen of which were in managerial roles. This strategic business planner, accomplished spokesman and problem solver is a results-oriented, self-confident leader and communicator with great financial acumen and a global perspective.

He became Managing Director of EasyRMS, a leading provider of SaaS Revenue & Yield Management software and consulting services. In 2012 Infor acquired EasyRMS to expand it’s hospitality software offering and added Infor EzRMS, to the Infor Hospitality Suite of end to end solutions.  Stan continues his role as Managing Director for Infor EasyRMS.

Jochen Wirtz is Professor of Marketing at the National University of Singapore and holds a PhD in services marketing from the London Business School.   Dr Wirtz has published over 200 academic articles, book chapters and industry reports. Eric Wong

Eric Wong is the Vice-President, Hospitality-Asia Pacific for Infor. Prior to his position with Infor, he was Director of Mobile Strategy for AJB Software, Managing Director of Hospitality Solutions, Asia Pacific for Agilysys, Director of Special Projects at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and a Manager at Deloitte. Mr. Wong has a BComm in Business from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Accountant with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accounts.
