Applications are now open for student research supervision by Dr. Matthew Lim, our newest faculty member on the Clinical Psychology programme.

Dr. Matthew Lim is keen to supervise projects on the impact of childhood adversity (e.g., insecure attachment and trauma), beginning with studies using healthy cohorts. In particular, he is interested in early-life risk and resilience factors for mental health problems in adulthood.

One study he currently has in mind is related to how parents’ emotional attunement with their children impacts their children’s mental wellbeing.
