Helping the cat community in NUS

[UPDATE] Cat Vet Talk 2016

Hello Everyone!

On 27 October 2016, NUS Cat Cafe collaborated with NTU Cat Management Network(NTUCMN) to hold a Cat Vet Talk. A few of the committee members, as well as, some cat feeders had the opportunity to attend the talk. Dr. Vanessa Lin and her team from My Family Vet clinic came down to teach cat first aid as well as tips on how to care for community cats.

We learnt how to identify common cat diseases, how to handle cats and what to do when we see an injured cat. Dr. Lin was very enthusiastic to teach us and brought along diagrams and medications to show us. She welcomed us to ask any questions regarding cats and gave useful advice. She even shared her experiences and insights from cat cases she has encountered. Unfortunately, Dr. Lin was unable to get a cat over for demonstration but we made do with a cute soft toy!

Overall, we hoped everyone who attended benefited from the talk and gained a lot of useful information to serve our cats better 🙂
