More Events! (By NUS PEACE)


NUS Cat Talk and Cat Walk was concluded successfully on 20 March (Wed) and 22 March (Fri) this week! Hooray!

Photos and updates of the events will shared on this blog over the next two weeks, so do look forward to that! (TEASER: Photo here is Princess (Biz) enjoying a massage from our Cat Walk’s participants)

In the meantime, NUS PEACE – People Ending Animal Cruelty and Exploitation, our parent animal welfare interest group, will be conducting a ‘Puppy Mill Campaign’ Talk and Roadshow (in collaboration with Humane Society of Singapore) and *Fundraising Awareness Drive next week! Fundraising merchandise include T-shirts (2 Designs), Tote bag and cute 1-inch badges (3 Designs for Cat, Dog and Rabbit)! Do show your support for NUS PEACE and kindly refer to NUS PEACE blog for more information!

*Do note that the fundraising proceeds will be used to fund PEACE’s and Cat Cafe’s future events.

NUS Cat Talk – Registration is now FREE OF CHARGE!


Hi all,

NUS Cat Cafe is glad to announce that we are withdrawing our $2 registration fee, after receiving a kind sponsorship for our (fundraising) merchandise!

NUS Cat Talk:

“Caring for the Stray (Cats) Community” Featuring speakers from Cat Welfare Society, Love Kuching Project and The Joyous Vet, topics for the workshop include cat management in Singapore, general cat care and grooming, as well as common illness and wound tending.
Date: 20 March 2013 (Wed)
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Venue: NUS
Registration: Free of charge

After much anticipation, here’s the program line-up for the upcoming NUS Cat Talk on 20 March 2013!

If you are still unaware, NUS Cat Cafe will be conducting a workshop with the theme “Caring for the Stray (Cats) Community”. Featuring speakers from Cat Welfare Society, Love Kuching Project and The Joyous Vet, you will be fascinated with a wide range of topics from cat management in Singapore to general cat care and wound tending!

Registration Fee: $2 (Fees collected will be used to reimburse the speakers’ transportation expenses and/or go to NUS Cat Cafe funds to be used for sterilization and/or veterinary fees whenever necessary)
