Its been quite long in the making, and its finally here!
Instead of using the default 1, 2, 3 column layout, you can now use html to customize the layout of each tab.
 
Methods of Access:

Clicking on Modify Layout from your space,
or clicking on the Menu image and selecting Layout in the menu that appears.

After much ado, the source code for Nexus is finally available at http://www.codeplex.com/nexus
Do note that this is a direct port from the current source code used in NUS but without NUS specific widgets and settings.
