Programme

Year 1 students at Ridge View Residential College (RVRC) learn about sustainability challenges in the module GEQ1917 Understanding and Critiquing Sustainability. Students undertake group projects where they identify and research sustainability issues in a realistic manner – through quantification of observations, dialogues with industry mentors and deliberations with their academic advisors. In response to their initial findings, they implement simple problem-solving solutions and reflect on the change they are able to initiate.

On April 14, RVRC will showcase the student work in its annual college symposium and networking session – Action for Sustainability. Students will share their insights through poster presentations and five shortlisted teams will make oral presentations.
