The New Paper (Page 16)
This was an article on NUS graduate Miss Heather Chi who suffered from anorexia in her first year of Junior College (JC). An unexpected outburst at the start of her second year in JC from her normally mild-mannered grandmother helped Miss Chi to break out of her eating disorder. She did well for her A levels, bagging herself a scholarship and a spot to read Geography at NUS. In NUS, she set up Food for All, a group focused on food issues in Singapore. She also launched Food Is Not The Enemy in 2007, a campaign to raise awareness about eating disorders and to create a safe platform for survivors to connect with one another.
