Winter and Summer Study Opportunities in Europe

The EU Centre would like to highlight to you the following winter and summer school opportunities in Europe.

University of Tübingen Winter, Semester and Summer Programme

The University of Tübingen (Germany) is offering an International & European Studies winter programme from January 5th 2015 to February 14th 2015, where students will take modules in International & European Studies and Language and Culture.

The programme fee is € 1,800 for three weeks and €2,800 for the full six weeks – partial scholarships are available for international students on the basis of academic achievement and financial need. The progamme fee covers all courses, excursions and field trips, cultural and social activities, a 3-day stay at the Berghaus Iseler in the ski area Oberjoch, public transport ticket and accommodation in Tübingen. Ludwig Maximilian University Summer Program for NUS Students

The 7th European Studies Programme will take place from 4th June 2015 to 27th June 2015 in the European cities of Munich, Prague and Vienna, under the patronage of the Center for Applied Policy Research (CAP) at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). CAP is organizing this programme with the cooperation of the International Relations Department of Webster University Vienna.

This summer programme provides students with an introduction to European politics and addresses various aspects of European affairs such as economic integration, European cooperation on justice and home affairs as well as European foreign and security policy. A particular emphasis of the program is on the relations between Europe and South East Asia and on a comparative analysis of regional integration in the EU and ASEAN. The course will involve lectures, round-table discussions, group-work and student presentations along with excursions to meet politicians as well as professionals.

Tuition for this programme is €1,600 – accommodation, tuition and registration fees are all included in this cost. The deadline for applications for this summer programme is 1st March 2015.
