Hi everyone! Here is a step by step, itemised User Guide on how to create your own teaching blog.

If you haven’t already registered an account, here’s how:

Step one:

Register fior an account at https://blog.nus.edu.sg/

Note: All staff with NUS or NUHS userids and email addresses can register. 

Instructions on registering are found in the User Guide above.

Once you have registered and created your first site, you can follow hhe steps below.

1. Setting your Blog theme

• How to chosse your Theme (general appearance of the blog) 
• The anatomy of the blog (important components used in editing)

2. Security settings

• Choose one of 3 security settings for viewing

3. Site title and Tagline

4. Creating a page

• Create a new page and publish it 
• Choose the Parent page (determines URL)

5. Uploading media

• Upload media content into media library 
• Upload media onto blog pages

6. Creating a hyperlink

7. Creating a Static front page

• Choose a fixed landing page for the blogsite (eg Welcome page)

8. Creating a Menu

• The menu determines which published pages actually appear on the blog and in what order 

9. Deleting Widgets
