Getting books from other NUS libraries

A tip somewhat related to Getting papers, google, NUS library:
Getting books from other NUS libraries delivered to the one nearest to you. (Intra Library Loan)

Browse to
http://libpweb.nus.edu.sg/web/appmanager/lib/desk

Log in and select E-Forms → Loan Services → Request to borrow books held in other NUS Libraries

Useful if you are lazy to make that trip to the Central or HSS Library.

  1. Graduate students and up only. Undergraduates can’t do this. 🙁

  2. Shawn: yes, it’s a pain being “low” in the hierarchy. If it’s any consolation, back when I was postdoccing in Cambridge, I got even lower prestige than the undergrads! (In fact, I don’t know if I was even allowed in the library: there was some morass of forms to fill in that dissuaded me from even trying.)

So, no more excuses to go to Yusof Ishak House…
