In a country that often describes itself as conservative, this trend seems to challenge Singapore’s dating norms.   1. Women make the first move against the social norms? What about the men-women equality then? And I tell you what will happen if you ask a Singaporean girl to go out on a Valentine’s Day, the guy will end up at Changi Prison. Singapore is such an awful place for relationships, which is not called conservativeness, but educated fear. And this won’t be changing unless girls stop playing mobile games on MRT, raise their heads and look around.
