A fifth self-recording room on campus has been launched at the Faculty of Engineering to support the University's technology-enhanced learning initiative.
The Engineering Self-Recording Room is located at Block EA-05-18E.

CIT has partnered with the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences to develop Self-Recording Rooms at the respective Faculties.
The rooms allow teaching staff to produce PC-based recordings in a well-lit environment which is sound-damped. The rooms are also equipped with interactive pen displays and coloured curtains which allow for simple replacement of the recording background.
A self-recording room will be launched at the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences. This is the second self-recording room, after the Faculty of Science. A roadshow and demonstration will be held on Mon 9 Feb at 1030 hrs and Tue 17 Feb at 1430 hrs.
For more information about the roadshow and demonstration, please contact the FASS AV Support Unit.
To facilitate recording of video lectures for flipped classrooms and internal blended learning online courses (iBLOCs), CIT and the Faculty of Science have created a self-service recording room at S16. The room is equipped with equipment to allow teaching staff to create videos of their own.
Find out more at the Self-Recording Room at Science page.
Two other rooms are being planned at different Faculties and Schools.
