Clinical experiments with the developed robotic systems
(Feb 2014) In collaboration with Dr. Lim from ENT dept, a series of clinical experiments were performed in the National University Hospital, using the surgical robotic systems recently developed by our team members.

Finalist for best paper at ROBIO 2012
(Dec 2012) Our surgical planning paper (Statistical Atlas Based Registration and Planning for Ablating Bone Tumors in Minimally Invasive Interventions, by Xin Kang, Hongliang Ren, Jing Li and Waipan Yau) was one of the five finalists for the best conference paper award at ROBIO 2012 in Guangzhou, China. Congrats to the winners and the other finalists. (The photo cited from IEEE ROBIO 2012 website showed that Prof Toshio Fukuda was presenting the awards).
