ANIMALS AS PETS: The SPCA takes in an average of 700 animals every month. Stop pet abandonment. Don't buy on impulse. Adopt. Sterilize.

ANIMALS IN FACTORY FARMS: The food that we eat. Confined to the point of being unable to move for all its life. This is not an isolated case, far from it.

ANIMALS IN ENTERTAINMENT: Elephants trained to perform unnatural behavior for our amusement, are controlled with bull hooks, sharp tools resembling long fire pokers that leave wounds and scars.

ANIMALS IN LABS: It is estimated that 50 to 100 million vertebrate animals worldwide are used for animal experimentation annually. Animal testing is used for biomedical research, drug testing, cosmetics testing etc.

ANIMALS IN THE WILD: Dolphins are usually hunted by driving them together with boats into a bay or onto a beach. Most of these highly intelligent mammals are killed brutally for their meat; some end up in dolphinariums.
