Speaker: Mr. Grant Peirera

About the Speaker: Grant Pereira has been an environmentalist and social activist for more than 30 years. He founded “The Green Volunteers” and is actively engaged in its program S.P.R.O.U.T.S. (Singapore Proudly Replanting Our Unique Trees and Shrubs). He sits on the Board of Advisors of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and is a representative for The Elephant Nature Foundation and the Orang Utan Foundation (Indonesia). In 2000, he was awarded The Green Leaf Award by the Ministry of Environment for his ongoing efforts in making Singapore a cleaner and greener place.
